For sale is my trusty Toyota Dolphin 1989 motorhome. I have now settled in Belize as a permanent resident, building up a smallholding, which makes it very unlikely that I will ever use the motorhome to travel around, let alone leave the country. Much better to give somebody else the chance to fulfil its purpose and give it its intended use.
We have travelled in this car all the way to Panama and back, and it has never let us down. The engine is extraordinarily tough and robust and strong - it's a workhorse, and in very good condition. The same goes for the suspension.
However, when it comes to the cosmetics of the fibreglass bodywork and interior, it will need some tender loving care from somebody who is handy with woodwork, fibreglass, furnishing, and maintaining all the various appliances (fridge (gas & electric), cooker, water heater, air conditioning, toilet & shower).
Alternatively, the truck would also lend itself to being converted from a motorhome into a cattle truck, water truck or something like that (because of the strength of the suspension especially at the back). It's not four-wheel-drive, but as I say, we climbed incredible hills with it, especially in Costa Rica, without any problem or protest.
I am really fond of that truck, and it's difficult to let it go, but it's better to sell it than having it stand around unused whilst slowly deteriorating.
You can see there is water-resistant tape around the windows (which was there when I bought it) - there are no leaks.
