Belmopan Vehicle Registration Process

  1. If you live in Belmopan: Go to the City Council Transport Department.
  2. If you live outside Belmopan: Go to the Department of Transportation.
  3. Take along your vehicle certificate and make sure your car is in good driving condition.
  4. Fill out the form and specify the duration of your renewal, the cost varies for different size vehicles. Small cars are approximately $135, and bigger vehicles are approximately $200.
  5. Pay at the cashier.
  6. A staff member will examine the car to make sure it is fit for the road, if it is he will replace the old sticker with the new one.
