For a limited time, American Northwest University will be providing a few 100% scholarships to the best and brightest High School Graduates from Belize and 80% scholarships to Belizean students who are interested in studying medicine. The scholarship award is primarily for Bachelor Degree Programs and is normally applicable for a maximum of three (3) mainly at the University of the West Indies and other Commonwealth Caribbean institutions.

The Jean Shaw Tourism Scholarship has been established in memory of the late Jean Ursilla Shaw, a renowned female tourism pioneer who played an integral part in the development of Belize’s tourism industry in her lifetime. The Fund was established by the BTB, in collaboration with its private sector counterparts, to support the development of qualified Belizean females pursuing a career in tourism.
